Come and join 4×4 Adventure Tours for a classic tour of Dartmoor and South Devon on the 7th and 8th of December 2024.
This route takes in some stunning scenery across Dartmoor and the South Hams and includes some technically challenging lanes.
Route
Starting near Exeter ,this route crosses Dartmoor and passes near Fingles Bridge and Hound working its way south. Day 2 ventures towards Tavistock and then back towards Kingsbridge to finish near Dartmouth.
The lanes vary from open moorland to classic Devon lanes bordered by beach hedges with some great views across southern Dartmoor.
Vehicle Suitability
As with much of South Devon, it’s hard to avoid lanes without a few intruding hedgerows, although this route is better than some and suitable for all but the shiniest of vehicles. There are some tricky sections, but these are all passable with care in a standard 4×4.
