A classic but challenging 4×4 Adventure Tours route across North Wales, following the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park
Come and join us on the weekend of 26th and 27th April 2025.
Route ( Subject to change due to conditions on the day)
Day 1 – starts in Llangollen and heads towards Porthmadog, taking in lanes such as Alti-Badi, the Wayfarer, Corwen Carwash and usually finishing of on a section of Sarn Helen, an old roman road then onto the beach at Black Rock Sands.
Day 2- takes use down to Coed-y-Brenin forest then past Dolgellau and onto Bomber Lane looping around Cader Idriss to Happy Valley and beyond.
On occasion, we may also include the Machynlleth Horseshoe (AKA “the Bastard”) but only with a group of suitably well-prepared vehicles.
Vehicle Suitability
Our 4×4 Adventure Tours North Wales route is mostly rock based and open in nature. These routes are suitable for newer vehicles due to the nature of the mountain tracks and the lack of scratchy hedgerows. The rock steps and numerous ford are all passable with care, by standard vehicles else alternative routes exist.
Please see FAQ for full details of vehicle suitability.
